Where each app keeps its export

Finding the export is the step people give up on, so here it is for each app Done reads.

  • Todoist: open a project, then ⋯ → Export as a template → Export as a file (CSV).
  • TickTick: Settings → Account → Backup & import → Generate backup (CSV).
  • Asana: the ▾ next to the project name → Export/Print → CSV.
  • Notion: the database's ⋯ menu → Export → Markdown & CSV.
  • Trello: board menu → Print, export and share → Export as CSV (paid plans).
  • Apple Notes, Reminders, Keep, Microsoft To Do or anything else: select the list, copy it, and use Paste a list.

Using something else?

Any CSV with a title column works: Done matches common column names like Title, Task, Name, Due date, Priority, Project and Tags, and you can pick the title column yourself. No CSV at all? Copy the list and use Paste a list.
