Check overnight budget

check_night_budget
Read-only

What it does

Ask whether you may start another task tonight. Call this BETWEEN tasks in a scheduled/unattended run — task budgets cap one task, this caps the whole session, which is what stops an overnight routine from spending a week's headroom in one night. When stop is true, do not start another task: end the current run with end_run(summary), release_task so the lease doesn't strand it, and leave the rest queued. Say in your summary what you left undone — a night that stopped at 4 of 8 tasks reads as 'everything handled' unless it says otherwise. since defaults to the last 12 hours.

Which tokens can call it

A connection made with OAuth has full access. A token from Settings → Agent access → Extra MCP tokens can be narrowed, and a narrowed token never sees beyond its project or workspace.
