Connect and capture
Capture tasks from anywhere
Email a task in, clip a web page, share from your phone, ask Siri, or talk through a brain dump.
Everything below lands in the same place as quick add, and understands the same cues — dates, times, priority, #project and @tag.
Email to task
- Open Account & settings → Integrations & agents → Email to task and click Create my address.
- Send or forward mail to it from your own confirmed address. The subject becomes the task, the body becomes its notes.
Mail from any other address is ignored. Get a new address makes the old one stop working.
From your browser
In the same section, drag Capture in Done to your bookmarks bar. Click it on any page to open quick add with that page filled in — nothing saves until you confirm.
From your phone
- Share sheet — share a link or text to Done from any app on iPhone or Android.
- Siri — say "Add a task to Done". It's saved and becomes a task after you confirm it when Done next opens.
- Voice — tap the mic in quick add to dictate.
- Widgets — Up Next and Schedule on your home screen.
Brain dump
In Control Room, open Brain dump, press Talk (or type), and say everything on your mind. Say "and then", "also" or "next" between items. Split into tasks turns it into cards you can add to your board or discard one by one.
