Weekly review template
A weekly review template in three passes — get clear, get current, look ahead — plus three questions to close the week. Tick it off here, print it, or import it into Done.
A weekly review is half an hour, once a week, where you empty every inbox, look at every open task and decide what the coming week is for. Skip it and your list slowly stops being true: it fills up with things you've already done, dropped or forgotten.
This checklist is a loose version of the Getting Things Done weekly review: three passes, then three questions. The questions are the part people skip, and the part that changes the week ahead.

Hand it to your agent
Connect Done to Claude, ChatGPT or any MCP client (it takes a minute), then paste this prompt. Your agent works through Done's own tools, under the same approval gate as everything else.
Work only through the Done MCP connector, on my Done account. Once a week: 1. Call get_weekly_review (and get_stats if you want the trend) to see what completed, what's still open, and what stalled. 2. Write a short retrospective: what shipped this week, what slipped and why, and the 3 things that most deserve attention next week. 3. Call comment_on_task on my most important open task with the summary so it's waiting for me next time I open Done. Keep it honest and brief — no filler.
