Notifications: push, approvals and decisions
Get a push, an email or a Slack DM the moment an agent needs you, and set quiet hours and a morning digest.
Turn any of these on in Account & settings → Notifications. Push is set up per device you use; everything else is per account and reaches you wherever you've turned it on.
Push notifications on this device
- Open Account & settings → Notifications and toggle Push notifications on this device.
- Allow the permission prompt your browser or phone shows.
- Turn on Due-time reminders for a push when a task with a set time comes due, and set Quiet hours to stop push between two times in your calendar's timezone — nothing is saved up for later.
- Click Send a test notification to check it arrived.
This turns on for the one browser or device you're using — sign into a phone later and it needs the same toggle there. A notification never shows a task's title or notes, only a generic heading; open it to see the details in Done. There's no one-tap approve on a push notification, on purpose — approving is a bigger decision than a notification button should make for you.
Approval alerts
The moment an agent proposes a plan or says a task is done, Done can tell you instead of waiting for you to check Control Room. Turn on any of Send to email, Send to Slack, or Send as a push notification.
- Send to email — an email to your account address.
- Send to Slack — a DM with Approve (or Approve plan) and Request changes buttons, once you've linked Slack. Approving there does exactly what Approve does in Done.
- Send as a push notification — just the heads-up; the details stay in Done.

Decision alerts
An agent can also park a blocking question instead of guessing. It alerts the same way as an approval — the Slack DM shows one button per option the agent offered, or a single Use the recommendation button if it gave you a suggestion instead of fixed options. Answering isn't an approval.
A non-blocking question never alerts — it's left for you to notice on the board. If your overnight routine's alert mode is set to Digest, a blocking question is folded into the morning digest instead of interrupting you.
