Delete your Done account
Last updated July 22, 2026
Done is a to-do app published by Pickleland LLC. You can ask us to permanently delete your account and everything stored with it at any time, and you don't need the app installed to do it.
Delete it yourself, from the app
The fastest way, if you can sign in: open Account (bottom-left of the sidebar), scroll to Delete account, enter your password, and confirm. Your account and everything below is removed immediately — no email, no waiting.
Or ask us by email
If you can't sign in, or you'd rather we do it, email us — no app required.
- Email support@trydone.app with the subject Delete my Done account.
- Send it from the email address on the account. That is how we confirm the request is really yours — we will not delete an account on someone else's word.
- We reply to confirm before anything is removed. Once you confirm, deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Requests are actioned within 30 days, and usually within a few business days.
What gets deleted
- Your account. Email address, name, avatar, password hash and salt, and timezone.
- Your tasks and everything on them. Titles, notes, descriptions, due dates, priorities, estimates, references, plans, and comments.
- Your projects, tags, and workspace. Including the personal workspace created with your account and your membership in it.
- Activity history. The full audit trail of what changed on your tasks and who changed it.
- Access credentials. Sign-in sessions, MCP tokens, calendar tokens, and any connected apps you authorised.
- Anything in Trash. Trashed tasks are removed with the rest of the account rather than waiting out their remaining 30 days.
What is kept, and for how long
- Work shared into someone else's workspace. If you were invited into a workspace you don't own, tasks you created there belong to that workspace and stay with it. Your name is unlinked from them.
- Records we're required to keep. Anything we must retain to meet a legal or accounting obligation, kept only for as long as that obligation lasts and not used for anything else.
- Backups, briefly. Encrypted database backups roll off on their own schedule, so a copy can persist for up to 30 days after deletion. Nothing is restored from them except to recover from an outage.
Deleting less than everything
If you only want some of it gone, you don't need to close the account. Deleting a task moves it to Trash, and Trash is purged automatically after 30 days — or immediately if you empty it yourself. Projects, tags, and MCP tokens can each be deleted on their own from the app.
