How to connect it

  1. ChatGPT: install Sunsama from the plugin directory and sign in.
  2. Claude: Customize → Connectors → add a custom connector named Sunsama with https://api.sunsama.com/mcp, then Connect.
  3. Claude Code: run the command below; Cursor: add the same URL under Settings → MCP.
  4. A client that only runs local servers can reach it through the mcp-remote bridge.
claude mcp add --transport http Sunsama https://api.sunsama.com/mcp

What it can do

  • Let an assistant work with your Sunsama tasks and workflows, in Sunsama's words
  • Connect from the major assistants with no API key to manage

What it doesn't do

  • Sunsama's help page doesn't list the tools, so check your client's tool list to see exactly what it can do.
  • Its docs don't describe read-only access or an approval step for an agent's changes.

Staying on Sunsama?

If daily planning is what Sunsama does for you, its official server lets an assistant read and update that plan without a third-party bridge — start there.

When Done makes sense instead

Done is a to-do app built for handing work to an AI agent, with the parts an agent needs before you trust it with real tasks:

  • An approval gate: by default an agent can propose that a task is finished, but only you can close it. Done enforces that, so it holds even if an agent tries to skip it.
  • Questions instead of guesses: an agent parks a decision with its recommendation, and you answer in one click.
  • Plans before work: an agent can propose a plan that waits for your yes before it starts.
  • Lanes: name your agents and pin each task to one, so two agents don't pick up the same work.
  • Scoped access: tokens that are read-only or limited to one project or workspace, and budgets an agent can't raise.

Moving takes one step

If you can get a CSV out of Sunsama, Done reads any CSV with a title column. Otherwise copy your task list and use Paste a list on Done's import preview.

Done's import preview shows exactly what lands — projects, tasks, due dates, priorities — before you create an account, and nothing is uploaded.
