Any.do MCP server
Yes. Any.do runs an official MCP server at mcp.any.do/mcp, free on every Any.do plan and currently in beta. You connect it with an OAuth sign-in to your Any.do account, and its help center lists 21 tools for tasks, lists, reminders, team boards and calendar events.
https://mcp.any.do/mcpHow to connect it
- Claude or Claude Desktop: Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, paste https://mcp.any.do/mcp, finish the sign-in, then turn it on from the + menu in a new chat.
- ChatGPT on the web: Settings → Plugins → Browse Plugins, add an MCP server named Any.do with the same URL, and authorize it. On the web you tag Any.do in the chat to use it; the desktop app doesn't need the tag.
- Codex: run the command below, then codex mcp login anydo.
- Set it up from a desktop browser; Any.do says mobile use depends on whether your AI app supports custom connectors.
codex mcp add anydo --url https://mcp.any.do/mcpWhat it can do
- Read tasks, lists and completed tasks for a date range, and create personal tasks and lists
- Set one-time and recurring reminders
- Read workspaces, boards and sections, and create board tasks and boards
- Read calendars and events, and create calendar events
- Add and update subtasks, and apply bulk updates to tasks and events
What it doesn't do
- Any.do calls the server a beta that may change.
- Its docs don't describe an approval step: a task an agent completes is completed.
- Its docs don't describe a way for an agent to stop and ask you a question in Any.do.
- Access follows the permissions you approve at sign-in; its docs don't describe read-only or single-board access beyond that.
Staying on Any.do?
If your household or team already plans in Any.do, its own server is the easy choice: it costs nothing extra, covers personal lists and team boards alike, and you can disconnect it whenever you like.
When Done makes sense instead
Done is a to-do app built for handing work to an AI agent, with the parts an agent needs before you trust it with real tasks:
- An approval gate: by default an agent can propose that a task is finished, but only you can close it. Done enforces that, so it holds even if an agent tries to skip it.
- Questions instead of guesses: an agent parks a decision with its recommendation, and you answer in one click.
- Plans before work: an agent can propose a plan that waits for your yes before it starts.
- Lanes: name your agents and pin each task to one, so two agents don't pick up the same work.
- Scoped access: tokens that are read-only or limited to one project or workspace, and budgets an agent can't raise.
Moving takes one step
Select the tasks in an Any.do list, copy them, and use Paste a list on Done's import preview. Each line becomes a task.
Done's import preview shows exactly what lands — projects, tasks, due dates, priorities — before you create an account, and nothing is uploaded.
