Let ChatGPT or Claude take the admin off your list.
Capture tasks in a sentence, ask your assistant to plan your day around your meetings, and hand it the research, forms and drafts, with every result waiting for your OK.
Done is an AI to-do list for busy professionals who already use ChatGPT or Claude and want it to handle the admin around their job: research, drafts, comparisons and paperwork prep. You capture tasks whichever way is fastest, your assistant reads the same list over MCP, and anything it does comes back to you to approve.
The jobs, and how Done handles them
Capture without stopping
Type a task the way you'd say it ("Renew passport by friday p1"), forward an email to your personal capture address, share a link from your phone, ask Siri, or talk through a brain dump that Done splits into separate tasks.
Get a realistic plan for today
Plan my day fits your open tasks into time blocks around your Google Calendar meetings, highest priority and hardest deadline first, and re-plans when a meeting moves. Ask your assistant "what's on my plate today?" and it reads the same plan with
get_todays_plan, or your morning Briefing withget_briefing.Hand off the admin
Assign a task to your AI by typing @claude or @chatgpt in quick add, or by setting its Doer. Your assistant researches the options, drafts the email or prepares the checklist, and posts the result in the task. When a step needs you, like paying, signing or sending, it asks instead of guessing.
Answer its questions in seconds
When your assistant needs a decision it parks a question with its recommended answer. You see it in Needs you, by push notification, email or Slack DM, and answering is usually one tap.
A week with Done
Monday
On the train you add six things in a minute: renew the passport, book the dentist, compare two health plans, a birthday gift, expenses and a board-deck review. You assign the health-plan comparison and the gift ideas to ChatGPT.
Tuesday
ChatGPT posts a side-by-side of the two plans in the task and asks one question: is keeping your current doctor a must? You answer, and approve the result.
Wednesday
Plan my day finds 45 minutes between meetings for the expenses and leaves the deck review for Thursday morning, when your calendar is clear.
Thursday
Claude prepares the passport-renewal checklist: the documents, the photo rules and the steps. You book the appointment yourself.
Friday
Close the day shows what got done and what slipped, and Monday's digest email lists what's due.
Which plan fits
Free · $0
Most people delegating their own admin fit on Free: every core feature, 100 agent calls a month and two workspaces, work and personal. A few delegated tasks a week usually stays under the cap. If you start handing your assistant something every day, or want a routine such as a task it picks up every weekday morning, Pro is $5 a month.

If you want software that plans your whole calendar for you automatically, Motion is built for that, and if your calendar itself is the bottleneck, Reclaim works alongside the task manager you already have. And if you'd rather not connect an AI assistant at all, a simple list such as Microsoft To Do or Todoist will serve you with less setup.
Questions
Can ChatGPT manage my to-do list?
Yes, through Done. Add Done in ChatGPT as a custom MCP server (your plan or workspace has to allow developer mode and custom MCP servers), sign in, and ChatGPT can read your list, add tasks and work the ones you assign it.
Can Claude plan my day?
Claude can read the plan Done draws for you: Plan my day fits your open tasks around your Google Calendar meetings, and Claude reads it with get_todays_plan. The plan_my_day prompt asks it to draft a prioritized plan from your open tasks. Claude's Free plan allows one custom connector, which is enough for Done.
Will the AI do things without asking me?
Not by default. An agent proposes that a task is finished and you approve it, and when it reaches a decision it shouldn't make alone, it parks a question for you.
Is Done on my phone?
Yes: there are apps for iPhone, iPad and Android, plus the web. You can capture from the share sheet, with Siri on iOS, and from home-screen widgets.
